Events - Event View

For newbies and veterans, our Signature ride is an annual  event for our club which features a fun ride followed by a barbeque and refreshments. Participants typically will be asked to bring a dish to share. We have varied the location, and this years event will be at Cottonwood park in Parker. A pavilion has been reserved for our club event. 

The route will be 24 miles of mostly leisurely biking, of which  ~ 75% will be bike path. Much of this is likely new routes for our VICC riders. The route itself will be kept a secret till ride time, since there is a competitive but FUN component to our event. Riders will be grouped into teams, which will have a variety of tasks/puzzles to complete ( akin to a scavenger hunt ).  Points are awarded for each part. A token prize will be awarded to the winners.
 
The theme of this years ride is Art, History, Nature and Riddles. We hope to inspire with art, educate with history, appreciate with nature, and confound with the riddles. Actually the riddles are not that complex since Idiots created them. The more riders, the more interaction and enjoyment. So please come join us for this event. Spouses and significant others are invited to particpate. Spread the word!

Directions to the park: Take Lincoln East, to Jordan North, to Cottonwood East,  and Left on Apache Plume Dr which will go to the parking lot entrance. We have reserved  the basketball Pavilion J to the Left.
